Âmanus Rotyka (Annihilation Cannon)
The Âmanus Rotyka Annihilation Cannon is the second most powerful shipboard weapon that a Poku Saeruo Degonjo vessel can mount. It has been in use by the clan since before the Norka (The Exodus).
The cannon is actually a twin barrel Positron/Electron pulse cannon. The cannon builds up a charge of Positrons and Electrons. When fired the cannon fires two focused pulse streams of particles at near light speed. The streams loose effectiveness beyond 2 light-seconds as they interact with particles along the way. The beams are 1 meter apart. When the beams strike an object or a shield the particles scatter, and the two sets of particles react in an Electron–positron annihilation explosion.
