The concept of property or possessions in the Poku Saeruo Degonjo is primarily based on the concept of clan property. This concept extends back to the time before the Norka (The Exodus), and the Rialumu Jyaonka (Codex of Possession) is the primary Clan law that codifies the possession of property.
Major assets, such as ships or facilities, are considered to be the property of the Clan as a whole, rather than the property of any individual or smaller social group. A Ruoka (House) or Punla (Family) is considered a steward of that major asset or property; they live within it, maintain it, fly it through space and so on. They do this on behalf of, and in the name of, the Clan, which remains the owner of that major asset.
The Poku'vonai are always careful with major assets, given their status as property of the Clan, and the fact that the first tenet of The Code is to put Clan before Self. Damage to Clan property, or to the property of others, can be considered criminal in some cases; theft and negligence, for example, can be criminal acts. The Rialumu Jyaonka (Codex of Possession)|Codex of Possession]] outlines these laws.
Personal property is an accepted concept in the Clan. Individuals, Families, Houses, Sects and corporations may own property.
