Veltin-daho'te is the primary fighting style and martial arts form of the Poku Saeruo Degonjo.

This fighting style is rarely used for actual combat against foes. It is, however, the form used for Âdaho'te (Dueling) and similar cultural bouts and performances. This makes the fighting style a cultural skill that all must learn. Basic proficiency must be demonstrated to pass the Baqnor (move from youth). Accuracy and speed are key facets of this style that are vital to success. The knife is used to block and to strike. Feint and counters are part of the form intended to create an opening for a strike. It is not intended as a killing form, but accidents do happen.
Training begins in the home by the parents, then is continued as part of the curriculum in the Ruohui Giba'te (Academies). It is common for all persons to practice regularly. However, higher placed individuals within the clan will practice more often as they are more likely to get involved in a duel.
