The Blitzer Hovercar is a simple design using fan technology to produce lift. It has weights to allow forward, reverse, and turning movement. It has a surface clearance of 1 Meter. It was designed and put into mass production in the Second Quarter of AF 260.1)
Designer: Dietrich Starkwerk Manufacturer: Dietrich Starkwerk Cost: 10,000 Abwehran Credits
Speed: Maximum of 145 KPH Length: 2.75 Meters Capacity: 52) Charge Time: 48 Hours or 1 Abwehran Standard Day Lifetime: 4 Abwehran Standard Years3) with regular maintenance.
It is powered by two Solar-Charged Batteries that are constantly charging while under the sunlight.
This simple design uses a weight system to affect movement. When the driver shifts the gear to reverse and presses the pedal, a weight at the center of the vehicle slides back. When the driver releases the pedal the weight slides back. It is similar for forward movement. To turn, a weight slides to the appropriate side as directed by the wheel that the driver uses. To brake, a forward vent slides open and fires air at the ground in the appropriate angle, and the Brake Fans activate bringing the vehicle to a stop.
