AAF Medical Pack

The primary Medical Kit of Combat Medics and Medical Technicians for the Abwehran Armed Forces (AAF) created during the Second Quarter of AF 260 (YE 32).

The cyan Messenger Bag that is approximately 60 centimeters wide, 46 centimeters tall, and 15 centimeters thick, the AAF Medical Pack is the only container approved by the Abwehran Armed Forces (AAF) to carry everything a Combat Medic needs into battle. The main pouch can be accessed via a large flap with an Orange Cross¹⁾ upon it and is divided into four padded sections organized by number, which allows a medic to grab what they need easily. Outside the main pouch are three smaller front pouches used to contain non-fragile, yet essential medical gear to treat wounded quickly and efficiently. These smaller pouches are organized by the Abwehran characters for “Compassion”, “Duty”, and “Loyalty”.

There are also two pouches on either side that are used to carry containers of water and sterilizing fluids. It can be carried by either a shoulder strap, a top handle, or even clipped to a AAF Light Infantry Armor's Backpack with specialized clips on the back.

The Contents of the AAF Medical Pack are organized by Pouches.

The Main Pouch contains four padded sections used to store fragile and important items/equipment a Medic needs.

Section 1 of the Main Pouch is used to store drugs and medicines with a hard case.

Contains the following items:

• Hypospray
• 2 Vials of Qualen (ten doses each)
• 2 Vials of Medical Nanobots in Protein Shield Solution (five doses each)
• 3 Vials of Blutlassen (five does each)
• 2 Vials of Flormal (five doses each)
• 2 Vials of Aufwachen (five doses each)

• 1 tube of Burn Cream
• 2 Chemical Cold Packs
• 2 Chemical Heat Packs

Section 2 of the Main Pouch is used to store basic equipment. Contains the following:

• 4 rolls of Dorntuch-fiber Bandages
• 4 rolls of sterile gauze
• 1 Case of 40 10cm x 5cm (4'x2') Synthetic Skin
• 1 Case of 30 10cm x 10cm (4'x4') Synthetic Skin
• 1 Case of 20 15cm x 10cm (6'x4') Synthetic Skin
• 1 Case of 10 20cm x 12cm (8'x5') Synthetic Skin
• 2 Aerosol Can of Quick-Hardening Cast Foam
• 1 Neck Brace
• 1 IV Kit w/ Needle, Saline Solution Bag, Medical Tubing
• 1 Suture Kit w/ Needle and spool of sterile silk.

Section 3 of the Main Pouch contains a Laser Scalpel, its power source, and miscellaneous tools. Contains the following:

• 1 Laser Scalpel Pen
• 1 pair of Defibrillator Pads
• 4 10cm x 10cm (4'x 4') Nuclear Batteries (lasts for 4 hours of constant use)
• 1 pair of forceps
• 1 pair of medical shears
• 1 pair of medical clamps
• 1 irrigation syringe
• 1 Oral Airway Kit

Section 4 of the Main Pouch contains analysis and miscellaneous electronic equipment. Contains the following:

• 1 Multipurpose Palm Computer
• 5 reusable, adhesive vital sign monitors
• 1 tube of extra adhesive
• 1 headlamp (mini-light with head strap)

The “Compassion” pouch is for easy access of equipment. Contains the following:

• 1 Case of 30 Synthetic Skin of various sizes
• 1 Thermometer
• 1 pair of tweezers
• 1 Case of Hypospray and 1 Vial of Blutlassen

The “Duty” pouch is used to store sterilization equipment. Contains the following:

• 1 Case of disposable, sterile rubber gloves (20 pairs)
• 1 Case of disposable, sterile masks

The “Loyalty” pouch is used to store a Medic's preferred items (must be small items).

The Right Pouch contains a cylindrical, insulated, metallic container filled with 3 liters of water with pop top.

The Left Pouch contains a cylindrical, insulated, metallic container with 3 liters of alcohol with spray cap to sterilize equipment and body areas.
