The Meisterhauptlegionaer is a mid-level NCO mostly found at the Platoon, Section, and Flight Level. In a platoon, a Meisterhauptlegionaer is tasked with advising his young Leutnant charge and to mold him into a better leader. In a Section or Flight, a Meisterhauptlegionaer actually commands the unit. In the staff-level, there is normally one Meisterhauptlegionaer in the staff personnel of every Field Officer.
