Information on what the SLP shoots, and how it works.

Upon pulling the trigger, energy is drawn from the battery and focused through a series of lenses to produce a Laser Pulse. Stun mode, instead of activating a laser pulse, activates an Electromagnetic pulse, which has a much shorter range.

• Battery:The Battery is removed by pressing buttons on either side of the grip, which releases the battery and allows it to drop free and be quickly replaced.
• Ammo Display: the back panel of the gun has a light sensitive display that displays the number of shots remaining in the battery. It changes brightness depending on the light level, getting brighter in the light, and dimming in the dark.

Field Maintenance Procedure: Wipe and clean after every mission, taking care to scrub the barrel down and all moving parts.

  • Barrels are changed by removing the upper portion of the gun body and then undoing internal clamps, releasing the barrel from the internal mechanisms.
