History
In YE 46, Astrid, the founder and CEO of the Mining Guild, requested a review of the Night Guard's operations. During this review, Vilkas noticed that an update to the uniforms was necessary, particularly for the winged members, whose unique physiological needs had not been adequately addressed in the current designs.
Recognizing these issues, Vilkas decided to undertake a comprehensive redesign of the Night Guard uniforms. For the winged members, he introduced specialized modifications that allowed for unrestricted wing movement and added protective elements to prevent wear and tear during flight.
Design
The Wing-Adapted Tactical Shirt is specifically tailored to fit comfortably around wings while maintaining the durability and functionality needed for security operations. Key features include:
- Material: Made from a high-tech moisture-wicking polyester blend that is both comfortable and durable.
- Color: Available in Midnight Black and Steel Grey.
- Wing Openings: Specially designed slits on the back with reinforced edges to accommodate wings without restricting movement. The openings are adjustable to fit different wing sizes.
- Fit: Tailored for a snug fit that does not impede wing movement.
- Pockets: Two chest pockets with secure closures.
- Ventilation: Mesh panels under the arms and along the sides for enhanced ventilation.
- Durability: Reinforced stitching in high-stress areas.
Usage
The Wing-Adapted Tactical Shirt is worn as part of the standard Night Guard uniform. It should be worn with the openings adjusted to fit the wings comfortably, and the shirt should be tucked into the tactical pants for a neat appearance.
For cleaning, machine wash on a gentle cycle with cold water and tumble dry on low heat. Avoid using fabric softeners to maintain the moisture-wicking properties.
