Night Guard Tail Guard
The Night Guard Tail Guard is a lower body uniform piece used by the Night Guard's Separa'shan, or other Naga-like species beginning in YE 41. The Tail Guard costs 300 KS and is available from the Mining Guild Supply Depot.
History
In YE 46, Astrid, the founder and CEO of the Mining Guild, requested a review of the Night Guard's operations. During this review, Vilkas noticed that an update to the uniforms was necessary, particularly for the winged and Separa'Shan members, whose unique physiological needs had not been adequately addressed in the current designs. Recognizing these issues, Vilkas decided to undertake a comprehensive redesign of the Night Guard uniforms. For the Separa’shan members, the new design included flexible and durable materials that accommodated their serpentine lower bodies, ensuring both comfort and protection in various environments.
Design
The Night Guard Tail Guard is engineered to fit the unique physiology of Separa’shan, offering protection and functionality. Key features include:
- Material: Constructed from a durable and flexible polymer blend that allows for a wide range of motion while providing protection against abrasions and impacts.
- Color: Available in Midnight Black and Steel Grey to match the rest of the Night Guard uniform.
- Sections: Designed with segmented sections to accommodate the serpentine lower body, allowing for fluid movement without restriction.
- Padding: Reinforced padding in high-impact areas to protect against injuries during patrols and confrontations.
- Storage: Integrated utility pouches and compartments along the sides for carrying essential tools and equipment.
- Adjustability: Features adjustable straps and fasteners to ensure a secure and comfortable fit for various body sizes and shapes.
Usage
The Tail Guard is a vital component of the Night Guard uniform for Naga-like species. It is worn as the primary lower body covering, providing both protection and utility. To wear the Tail Guard correctly, it should be secured around the waist and adjusted for a snug fit using the provided straps and fasteners.
For cleaning and care, the Tail Guard should be wiped down with a damp cloth after each use to remove dirt and debris. For deeper cleaning, it can be hand washed with mild soap and water, then air dried. Avoid using harsh chemicals or machine washing to preserve the material's integrity and flexibility.
