The Model 44 Standardized Magazine is an internal munitions storage meant for use on Iron Company Combat units. Initially designed with Starships in mind, it was then scaled for Mecha and later Combat Vehicles due to not only convince but also for the safety features it brought to the table. It has become a mainstay of many of their more advanced designs; not to mention a good storage unit for beverages if not being used on a machine.
The Model 44 Standardized is usually scaled to whatever system it is mounted on, and its shape will change depending on the system, but is usually a large box. The magazine features a simple electric feed system that can be via fire control system swap quickly between munitions types. It features a static grounding system and is environmentally sealed. It also features blow-out panels meant to keep any munition detonations, if the ammo is able to be detonated, from doing any further damage to the ship.
