HEC Projectiles

Built by the Frontier Manufacturing Service for the Recoilless Graviton Cannon and Howitzer at the beginning of YE 41 the HEC series is straight to the point. High Explosive, Conventional projectiles for the express purpose of ranged bombardment. These literal bombs are designed with a plastic explosive that is remarkably similar to T31PE but with a chemical makeup that undergoes a radical change when subjected to the intense graviton fields of FMS graviton weapons. After firing, the explosive material is becomes incredibly unstable and will violently explode upon collision.

Price:

• 50mm: 40 KS per round
• 150mm: 100 KS per round

Developed for the Recoilless Graviton Howitzer at the beginning of YE 41 FMS made sure to build a smaller version for its 50mm predecessor. Expecting the potential of invasion from the ever looming threat of the local NMX the Frontier Service Corporation wanted a weapon that operated on the principle of delivering raw firepower to large areas at long range. A mighty and portable weapon, this munition would be largely stockpiled for the day of their inevitable confrontation.

A metallic cylinder with a conical tip contains the mass of plastic explosive within. Munitions range from pistols to cannons.
