EM-W4 Stun Baton

The Emrys Industries Stun Baton is tool for law enforcement personnel, it became available in YE 34.

The EM-W4 is a multifunction baton that in addition to normal uses has a low level scalar pulse to stun targets. It is made of Durandium Alloy. It has a chargeable power cell, and has a simple on off copper switch. The baton power call has enough power for 10 charges. The EM-W4 is available in two models a straight and a side baton.

The purpose of the stun is to disorient and impair the targets ability to resist. There are twelve small bands on the end of the baton that are the discharge points. The charge only comes out of the discharge point when it is struck against a person. The charge is low enough that a single hit will impair the target's motor functions. A target would have to be hit 3-4 times depending on body mass and physiology to be rendered unconscious.

The battery fits in the base of the baton, twist the silver locking ring, remove the base. Take the battery out of the base, and put in a fresh one, connect base, and lock in place. It is 3“ long and .5 inches in diameter.

The charger can handle one power cell, and can be connected to either a vehicle aux power receptacle or a standard power receptacle.
