EM-G14-1A Biopad

The Emrys Industries EM-G14-1A Basic Bio-monitor is part of the EM-G14 Series Bio-monitors which became available in YE 34.

The EM-G14-1A or Biopad is a disposable dermal applied device to monitor pulse and temp.

The Biopad is a the size of a stick of gum, and has an adhesive back to adhere it to the patient. Removing the protective plastic from the back activates the Biopad. The front of the biopad is a LCD display the shows the pulse and temperature of the patient. It is powered by a small battery which allows it to run for 3 hours. It has a four digit display for temp and a three digit on for pulse.

1. Remove the Biopad from the package.
2. Peel plastic off back of Biopad
3. Press firmly to the patient skin
4. Unit will calibrate to compensate for ambient tempurature
5. Unit will display information in 15 seconds, and update ever fifteen.
