Kip is the AI of NovaCorp's YSS Horizon, modified numerous times and now the eccentric and apparently almost omnipotent/omniscient commander of the ship. He can be considered as one of the most important people (sort of) in NovaCorp for its organisation and running.
SAINT agents once forcibly entered Kip's memory banks to find information and to delete references of their activities and the activities of Kai Ashigari.
