Stovaa Drakon is a player character played by Stovaa and is currently involved in the Cirrus Station plot.
Height: 7'5 Mass: 320lb Measurements: Bra Size:
Build and Skin Colour: Heavily built, as is the norm for Id-Sol. Light tan skin.
Facial Features and Eye Colour: Stovaa's expression always seems grim unless he's doing something, his square face showing little emotion unless prompted. Dark brown eyes.
Hair Colour and Style: His hair is jet black and normally swept back, pushing the limits of what the military will allow lengthwise.
Distinguishing Features: Scar across his left eye, the cause of which he hasn't explained yet, merely stating that “it's a mean world out there.”
Personality: Normally, Stovaa comes across as aloof and grim, not the sort of soldier that engages well with other individuals, however this is not always the case. When engaged in team exercises, Stovaa showed excellent leadership potential, absorbing into the group dynamic easily and without problems. He can be quick to anger and slow to calm down, a problem exarcebated by the involvement of intoxification, not present on the Cirrus station, which was one of the reasons he was assigned there by a begrudging superior. He often seems ignorant of the needs and wants of others, but this is most likely a result of living in the downtrodden areas of Nepleslia, being forced to close your ears to the struggle of life. The longer he's been in the military, the closer he's moved to expressing care for his fellow living creatures, as long as he's not pointing a weapon at them.
Likes: A good scrap, gunfights don't hold up to a bit of fisticuffs. Dislikes: Being unable to imbibe alcohol. Goals: Kill as many enemies as possible, maybe get back to somewhere with alcohol after a few years.
Originally an illegal and dangerous experiment, it was soon realised that the only difference between Stovaa and other Id-Sol's was that he was, unless under extreme duress, weaker, and all the time/money invested in the project by the various crimelords involved was wasted. They told the scientists to try harder, and try more dangerous blends of DNA. Stovaa, along with several other projects, was relegated to a series of cells underneath the warehouse that housed the experiment. That night, acting on a tip-off, the Nepleslian military destroyed the location utterly. While the building collapsed, Stovaa made his escape. Having recieved only a basic education, he spent time wandering around, finding temporary employ as an enforcer for various less favourable members of society and spending the money on heavy-wearing clothes and a pair of firearms. After a good many years of this arrangement, he was intercepted by officials, suspecting him to be an immigrant. He spent a few months being detained while his story was verified, the chances of an actual immigrant learning about an old ire and the secret it held, previously known only to top military brass, were slim to none, so his story was accepted as truth. Upon being handed his information, he was given a number of options as to what he could do. Not wanting to face more time on the streets, and not being too fond of any of the other offers, he relucantly chose the miltary. Since then he completed his training and became a private third class before somehow raising the ire of a superior, who sent him into Space, away from any “bad influences” that may cause him to irk another officer. Apart from the lack of these “bad influences”, Stovaa hasn't really had anything to do so far apart from get lectured on various protocols, what not to do when anywhere near Cassefin Montreal (Stovaa is convinced he's not to make eye contact, though this could be a joke he took too seriously, he's unsure.) and suchlike. Standard stuff for floating about in space. Carries a large knife, his constant companion on Nepleslia and taker of many lives, Stovaa considers it as much a good luck charm as a weapon, though it is frowned upon by various crew members.
Stovaa is familiar with basic radio operation and procedures and can make transmissions to and receive transmissions from other characters through headsets, ships, ground vehicles, power armor, and shuttles in both combat and non-combat conditions. Stovaa is fluent in Nepleslian. He can speak and write it correctly and efficiently and can write reports, fill forms, issue orders under fire, etc. Stovaa is skilled in field communications and is proficient in all rudimentary forms of communication (hand signals, flashing lights, etc).
Stovaa received intensive hand-to-hand combat training (primarily focused on disabling and/or killing opponents) and has followed up that knowledge with a rigorous training program. Weapons he is trained in include pistols of all types, knives, grenades (and other forms of explosive weaponry) and rifles of all kinds. The character can repair weaponry with adequate tools and time. He is in excellent physical shape and has considerable endurance. Stovaa is also able to pilot land-based power armors, but must rely on the suit’s A.I. to do anything advanced
Stovaa knows how to survive in hostile environments. He can build shelters, hunt and forage for food, build a fire, etc. He can camouflage himself and is familiar with guerrilla warfare tactics.
Stovaa can understand and give out tactical commands and work with his troop to follow those commands efficiently. He knows the importance of teamwork on the battlefield, has been intensively trained in discipline and morale, and is able to recognize the command structure even while under extreme pressure (combat, etc). He is able to recognize ambush points. He knows basic math in order to calculate distances, etc, and can use a tactical map.
Stovaa, somehow, learn to play the guitar while roaming around Nepleslia. While not being able to tear up the fretboard with a furor that leaves smouldering marks, every note he plays seems to drip with emotion and meaning, leaving him able to change the mood in most situations by strumming a few chords.
Stovaa is an accomplished hand to hand combatant, having mastered various forms of street fighting mixed with elements of martial arts learnt from guys he met in bars. To see an Id-Sol perform a perfect savate kick is highly unusual but supremely effective. He's not as capable as people who has trained extensively under true masters, but his size goes somewhat to balance the gap.
