Tyler Myers is a player character played by Goergyboy.
Height: 5'7” Mass: 160 Measurements: N/A Bra Size: N/A
Build and Skin Colour: A rather pale person from standing behind the bar all day. At the moment he has gone from thin to average due to his life style, but is still gaining weight. (Expected to be fat in the future)
Facial Features and Eye Colour: His face is very soft and round, in stark contrast to his brothers' boxed head, with blue eyes.
Hair Colour and Style: Dark brown hair in a comb over style adorns the top of his head.
Distinguishing Features: A Nepleslian without cybernetics, or any scars on his face seems to make him stand out more then anything else.
Personality: Two-faced is how most would put it, or a facade. Tyler likes to appear happy while at the same time business like, after all a bartenders job is to keep the customers satisfied. Aside from that he also has to change according to people's needs; such as laughing loudly with one guy while being sincere and thoughtful for another. Being there for others is of the utmost importance to him partially because there was no one there for him during his toughest times.
The second most important is never get too close to somebody. Sure you can be friendly with them, but if you get too friendly they may stop seeing you as an authority figure when you have to stop serving them drinks till they sober up some. It could be said there are other reasons as well, but despite those other reason being a bartender is the world to him and he'll do anything to prevent the loss of said career.
Likes: High tipping customers, people looking to chat, people who sit at the bar rather then at a table Dislikes: Rukus, fights, bottles broken over peoples heads, unpaying customers Goals: To be a renowned bartender
Beth Myers (Mother), Daniel Myers (Father), Steven Myers (Eldest Brother), Randy Myers (Older Brother), Jenny Myers (Older Sister)
Tyler was the youngest in the family, his sister being only a year older. The two of them got a lot of attention growing up for being so cute and little, while his eldest was always in discussion of what career he'll take to spread the family name. He looked up to his older brother Randy, but Randy ran away in his teens, and before that spent most of his time out with the gangs of Nepleslia. With Randy gone his sister and him became even closer. Despite being young he tried to look out for her, but he was often outmatched when it came to fighting.
Once at the age of adulthood the cold reality of Nepleslian life hit hard. He witnessed first hand the value of a female Nepleslian as his sister was assaulted numerous times, and eventually forced to marry. He protested in every way he could; to his family and to strangers, but there was little he could do. He was far to weak to do anything on his own, and given the circumstances no one wanted to take his side. He realized he was soundly defeated and there was nothing he could do, just like his sister.
When Randy was still around he talked about the comfort he got from alcohol and drinking with his friends in the gang. Tyler tried to find comfort in alcohol as well, and started hitting bars left and right, but he never found that comfort. The bartenders were so bland and usually busy: simply making the drink, collecting the money, and moving to the next customer. This is when the crestfallen Tyler decided on his career.
Mixologist- a person skilled in making mixed drinks; bartender.
A rather simple task that really only required the study of how much to pour in a glass based on the name of the drink alone. It peaked his interest when most of the bartenders appeared to be bland and lacking any true depth when serving others. There was no reason not to entertain as well as serve people.
Memorizing a list of drinks including the glass type, liquor, garnish, and taste takes a lot of study and memorization. Names and faces are another useful thing to memorize, and one of the first things he does upon meeting new people is just that. These things do, however, occupy precious gray matter making committing new unrelated things to memory harder.
Entertaining the guests is vital! Keeping drunks occupied long enough to sober up, and distracting those who would cause trouble for others has put this on the priority list for Tyler. Mainly consisting of parlor tricks such as follow the coin in the 1 of 3 cups, striking up conversation is also of importance as it keeps their attention on you and not their drink, and/or other people.
Has a very basic idea of the stellar layout, allowing him to give basic directions on how to get from point A to point B. Before becoming a bartender, cargo shipper was on his mind for a career and committing the map to memory was vital for that. However, once changing profession the intricate details were filtered out to allow room for other things more alcohol related.
Diplomacy has helped deal with trouble makers before and will no doubt continue to do so. Not one to use big words, it is more of how you say rather then what you say for Tyler. When cutting people off from having more liquor, rather then just denying service, offering alternatives seems to have worked best in the past.
Keeping bar tabs, running the register, and counting how much liquor each person has in their system are all basic addition and subtraction, but still of great value. While his long term memory is densely occupied with other information, keeping track of multiple people and their drinking for the night only requires the use of his short term memory allowing him to keep track of a decent sized crowd before it must resort to pen and paper.
It's no coincidence the bartender is also known as the rumor mill. People come to get drunk and talk, and talk they do; rather loudly at that. Not looking interested but listening in on certain conversations sometimes offers a chance to make a little money from those interested of such rumors. Of course with his memory being heavily taxed already his information is not necessarily reliable.
Tyler Myers is currently a N/A in the Independant. He receives a weekly salary of -salary- per week.

As of right now not really meant to ever be off duty. More of a lightweight character then a full blown character, just a living breathing bartender for other players really.
