Build and Skin Color: Kayo is well muscled and clearly in shape but not to some extreme sense: still fitting along with the typical image of a toned body people think of for Geshrin. He is Caucasian, with heavy tattoo work from his neck down. He also has many faded shrapnel and burn marks found mostly on his forearms, at his hips, and on his lower stomach.

Eyes and Facial Features: Kayo has a square-shaped face, a wide nose, and violet-colored almond-shaped eyes. He has minor shrapnel scarring on his right cheek and up close to the eye. Most of his facial scarring along the jaw and lower cheek is hidden by his graying beard. He also has a pair of black teardrop tattoos just under the corner of his left eye.

Ears: Kayo's ears are perfectly normal, human ears.

Hair Color and Style: Kayo's hair is a dark black even though he's starting to prematurely gray at the temples and in his beard. He grows his hair out into a thick and messy ponytail but still keeps it no more than a few inches below his shoulders. His beard is “scruffy” but he keeps it trimmed off of his neck and cut relatively short to make up for how thick it grows in.

Distinguishing Features: He has no legs just under the hips and the scars and burn wounds around his hips would tell why. He also has shrapnel and burn scarring on his forearms. He's also almost totally covered from his neck down in all sorts of tattoos: his arms, back, chest, stomach, his sides, and even the back of his hands and knuckles. A few of note are a burning rose on the back of one hand, a large snake wrapping around his throat, a trio of old anti-air missiles firing out of a smoke cloud on his back, and two teardrops under the corner of his left eye.

Personality: One day after he had his fighter blown apart from underneath him, Kayo rolled up to a greasy old bar somewhere, and picked up a bottle. He never really put it down.
