Going into YE 45, the Yugumo Corporation became a process of transformation toward an expanded corporate structure and organizing their product lines into brands. The Starshield® product brand was the first of the new brands to be formed and was suggested by Motoyoshi Arisu. It would focus on tools and equipment. Often this brand of product is found in most Yugumo Fleetworks designs, but was also available for retail sale.
