-The Izumi's Revenge is the personal starship belonging to the mercenary [[character:amanozako|Amanozako]]. An [[faction:mishhuvurthyar:nmx_escort|escort destroyer]] originally operated by the [[faction:mishhuvurthyar:nmx|New Mishhuvurthyar Military]], the 'Revenge was abandoned in battle some time during the Second Mishhu War and left adrift for some years before being discovered by the Second Chance Salvage Company. With the battle damage to the ship and destruction of the memory banks in the main computer upon abandonment, little of the ship's military history is known.
-The vessel's location was raffled off by the Second Chance Salvage Company in YE37 and won by Amanozako. She and her compatriot, Desmond Stroud, ventured to the abandoned vessel and were able to get enough systems working to limp it to a nearby space colony for refitting. With much money, time and effort the ship was refit, converted into something more habitable by none Mishhu and brought back into a proper operating state.
-Named Defiance for a short time, the ship served as a base of operations for the mercenary group Amanozako was a member of, though this lasted less than a year before the group parted ways and Amanozako took her ship with her. Some time in YE38 she renamed the ship Izumi's Revenge, a name more personal to her, of which she will not answer questions about, and continues to operate from the ship to this day.

-The biggest change made to the Izumi's Revenge when Amanozako took possession of the ship was the gutting out of all the biological internal components and rewiring of the ship's interior to make the ship habitable to non NMX species. There was a two fold need for this. No one, including Amanozako wanted to live in the biomechanical environment of the Mishhu, and the biological component of the ship's interior was long dead anyways and needed removal. The bulk of the refitting cost and time went to this effort. Now the 'Revenge has a standard utilitarian, if not bland, interior. Little money or effort was spent on decorating the interior spaces, and since most of the vessel is rarely inhabited, only as few spaces even show the slightest sign of life. Most notable inhabited spaces are the bridge, captain's cabin, armory, mess, kitchen and medical bay.
-Beside the changes to the inside of the ship, the exterior is painted overall matte black with crimson accents. A demon's face adorns the forward hull on both flanks.
