-Taking place a few weeks after Neera Pine’s ascension to co-head of state the NDS Kharon, one of the first [[faction:ndc:ferryman_colony_ship]], has been sent to colonize a planet on the edge of known space as a test of the ship's capabilities. The plot is starting with the ship already underway and having stopped in uninhabited systems to test its ability to collect resources from the local asteroid field and planets, something is wrong though. Over the last few weeks, several crew members have gone missing while several others have complained of hallucinations and hearing voices before going into psychotic rages resulting in at least a dozen dead. Despite worry over the developing situation the Captain, an Operator named Rudolf has chosen to continue the mission and reported all is well aboard the ship. The plot begins at this point.

-Head of science-related activities of the Karon, including but not limited to Hydroponics, Cryostasis, and Biology.
