In his misunderstanding, he had agreed to meet with [[character:motoyoshi_misato|]] unaware that she was in league with [[character:motoyoshi_kiyoko|]] and not his mother, [[character:ketsurui-motoyoshi_katsuko|]].

As the two are occupied with each other the shopkeeper contacts a cell of the Tange Clan to alert them of the location of [[character:ketsurui-motoyoshi_katsuko|]] and they send an assassin to the location.
