-The Na-K1-W3100 is a simple, highly robust machine gun capable of operating in all environments.

-The weapon itself is extremely low tech in comparison to other weapons in use today, only four components make up the firing mechanism and linked, cased, rounds are used for ammunition.

-The weapon typically fires NDI style ‘grab bags’ of linked ammunition when in combat to make it effective against a variety of targets though there are other ammunition types available to it they will almost always be .40cal rounds unless the weapon has been modified to accept other ammunition types.

-The most common ammunition type are small .40cal tungsten rounds with a thin black casing and a small amount of high explosive to send the round on its way. These come in linked chains of 250 in green boxes that can easily be attached to the sides of a Na-K1-W3100 for use.

-====Grab Bag==== 
-The most common ammunition type to use when combat is expected is an NDI style grab bag linked chain of ammunition. This chain contains a repeating series of high density armor piercing rounds, high explosive rounds, soft DumDum rounds, flashbang rounds and tracer rounds. The first eight rounds alternate between AP, explosive, DumDum, and flashbang rounds while the 9th is always an incendiary tracer round.

-This combination of ammo helps ensure the weapon is always firing something that will hurt the enemy. AP rounds do well at penetrating armor and are followed up with an explosive round that will send shrapnel around the target area. DumDums flatten out inside of soft targets, causing intense damage to flesh while flashbang rounds simple create a loud, powerful, bright, blast on impact designed mainly to disorient targets or power armor sensors in the event of a near miss or even direct hit.

-===== Firing Mechanism ===== 
-The firing mechanism is a simple piece of equipment made up of four moving parts that are easy to disassemble, clean, and put back together. The weapon is designed to be able to fire even when choked with dust or exposed to intense temperature changes like those in space, making it nearly impossible to jam.

-The trigger exists as a button the top of both handles capable of being pressed by the user’s thumb. A safety switch exists on the side of the weapon and reloading is handled by opening the top casing of the weapon to set ammunition into the hopper and barrel. This action also readies the weapon for firing.

-The drawback of the low tech construction is that the weapon lacks pinpoint accuracy, is noisy, and has tremendous recoil, though for some this is considered a feature.
