 The career of cook is a [[faction:nepleslia:military]] occupation that is shared by the [[faction:nepleslia:military:nepleslian_space_marine_corps]] and the [[faction:nepleslia:military:nepleslian_star_navy]], and even the [[faction:nepleslia:military:star_military_corps|Central Corps]]. Every time of unit in the Nepleslian military has to be fed, so there are Marine Cooks, Navy Cooks, and Central Corp cooks each working in their respective corps to provide healthy and nutritious meals to their fellow fighting men, women, aliens, mutants, cyborgs, and other people who make up the military's diverse force.

 Cooks prepare meals cafeteria-style in galleys on starships, or from mobile kitchens in the field. If no food ingredients are immediately available, cooks can also make meals out of the unit or individual rations, or out of whatever is around the area of operation. Food is critical to morale and the welfare the troops and a good cook knows how to make the most and waste the least of their supplies.
