 Similar to the [[celb laser|CELB Laser]] in functionality, but differing in application, the Compression-Enhanced Heavy Beam, or CEHB Laser is a potent starship mounted weapon typically used as a secondary weapon on most vessels, and a main heavy weapon on mid to large sized craft, such as shuttles and corvettes. It works by pumping a high potency coherent visible-spectrum EM beam through a lens and continuously encasing it in a dense space compression effect, allowing it to fire for exceptionally long ranges.
