The four forward faces of the diamond are patterned with the ship's combined sensor and emitter arrays. This ball is held behind the ship by invisible force fields, and controlled through a spinning ring around the ball's midsection as well as four large panels that orbit the ring in the opposite direction that the ring rotates. | ||
