 The Mishhuvurthyar were starting to really scare the Empire in [[timeline:ye_28]]. Concerned the [[species:Mishhuvurthyar]] would overrun [[planet:Yamatai]], and because of a number of other age-old issues, the Nepleslian government seceded from the [[faction:yamatai_star_empire]]. A couple weeks before they did, [[corp:geshrinari_shipyards]] received orders to start work on a new battleship that would be a "symbol of [[species:Nepleslian]] military might" and that would be "as good as [[stararmy:start]] ships." The project was assigned to [[characters:nepleslia:clark_thompson]] and his Elysian assistant, Abdyel.
