The Kp-41 was designed by Puttfarken Manufacturing to provide a weapon that had a high fire rate and chambered their pistol rounds.
About the Kp-41
In an effort to increase stock, Puttfarken Manufacturing created the Kp-41 submachine gun for sale to both civilians and military personnel. The Kp-41 was designed in YE 35 but didn’t come into production until YE 36 when the building of Puttfarken Manufacturing was finally finished.

Appearance
The Kp-1 is constructed with a black composite stock with a rough finish and is made in the semi-grip style and therefore provides a more diagonal angle for the grip hand. A slot is in receiver in front of the trigger guard to insert the magazine. The select fire lever is inside the trigger guard right in front of the trigger. The charging handle sticks out an inch on the right side of the receiver while the receiver itself is hinged to allow easy access to the bolt and spring to strip the gun.
Muzzle Flash: The built in gas compensator greatly increases the muzzle flash into a large bright, white flash.

Weapon Mechanisms
Firing Mechanism: The Kp-41 has an open-bolt blowback mechanism in which the bolt is held back by the trigger shear. Pulling the trigger releases the shear and causes the compressed action spring to propel the bolt forward, stripping a round from the magazine feed and into the chamber. At the end of this process, the firing pin fires the primer, ignites the propellant, and the pressure of the expanding gases sends the projectile down the barrel.
Ejection System: The Kp-41 has a forward-ejection system in which two extractors move side to side to engage the casing and takes it down a tube over the barrel and then pivots to eject the casing forward over the handguard.
Loading: The Kp-41 has slot in the receiver in front of the trigger guard that requires the magazine to be rocked into place in order to attach them. It uses a detachable drum magazine in which cartridges are moved to the top with the use of a follower driven by spring compression.
Mode Selector: The Kp-41 has a fire selection lever mounted on the left side designed to be used by the user’s thumb. The default setting is safe followed by three-round burst and fully automatic.
Firing Modes: The Kp-41 has three-round burst and fully auto capabilities.
Weapon Sight: The Kp-41 has a rail attached L-shaped rear sight that can be adjusted for ranges up to 200 meters.
Attachment Hardpoints: One mounted on the top of the rifle containing the removable rear iron sight.
