Kisaki - Vertical Strut

The vertical strut is the backbone for the Kisaki-class Starbase. It is a zero-gravity zone and not intended for personnel to be in. It is divided into sixty-two decks or sections for safety reasons.

• The vertical strut has two transit system rails.
• A large central zero-g passageway for moving large items.
• There are four maintenance conduits along the outer edges, that personnel use to perform maintenance and repairs.

• It features all standard emergency systems.
• Power for the strut is supplied by the Kisaki - Command Module.
