YSS Aeon - Preparedness

This page provides standard guidance for YSS Aeon crew members to maintain preparedness.

• Each soldier is expected to maintain assigned equipment and duty stations in excellent condition at all times.
• All hatches should be kept sealed and keep items secure. Any objects not in use should be stowed away.
• Damage control stations should be routinely inspected and kept fully stocked.
• Sufficient spare parts and redundant systems should be kept for systems when possible, notify First Officer or Supply officer when parts are consumed.
• Ship systems should be regularly inspected and tested.
• Blast shutters, doors, and hatches must remain unobstructed at all times.
• Additional remedial training will be conducted on:
  • Damage control procedures
  • First aid
  • Firefighting
  • Self-defense
  • Survival
  • Zero gravity, and
  • other Star Army Common Skills.
