People, places, and ideas that occur in the shared imaginary universe are “in character.” The term is short for “in the character's point of view.” The term is abbreviated as “IC.”
Only in-character posts should be made in in-character threads and forums, although adding OOC notes on the IC events is acceptable such as ship numbers, damage stats, distances, times, etc). Most IC forums also have an OOC thread for OOC discussion.
