Gunship

In the Star Army Role-Play, the term “Gunship” refers to a starship in which:

1. The ship's main weapons define its purpose and are the center of its design.
2. The ship's main weapons are oversized, or make up a disproportionately large portion of the ship.
3. The ship is a special sub-class of escort based on heavy firepower.

“Gunship” can also mean a combat helicopter or hovercraft. An example of this would be the Sunburn Heavy Gunship.
