Created to serve as the main propulsion system of the Neshaten, the Crena Energy Engine was designed to be an anti-gravity based engine that could propel a ship through space. The engine gets its power from a ships main reactor but can also be provided a limited amount of power from a backup reactor.
The Crena engines can operate both within and outside of a planets gravity well, because they are the opposite of positive-gravity, they don't suffer the drawbacks of reduced speed.
