Âdaho'te Veltin (Duel Blade)
The Poku Saeruo Degonjo often uses a duel to solve a disagreement rather than have the matter escalate to a blood feud. Since these duels are intended to be for resolving matters of honor, the blades are intended to cut, not kill. They are part of the Veltin-daho'te (Knife Fighting) style as well as the Tuima-daho'te (Dance Fighting).
The (duel blade) is a narrow straight blade with a hand-grip. The only edge is on the end of the blade, which has a two sharp points. The blade is held by the grip so that the blade points out of the hand past the Poku'vonai little finger.
