These are short-range weapon emplacements, traditionally designed to strike at targets between 1 and 20 kilometer ranges.
These are medium range structures designed to hit targets up to 120 kilometers away
Traditionally found hidden within cities, these defense structures are able to reach out and hit targets up to 500 kilometers away.
These structures are the ones designed to protect a planet from attacks from space, because of this, their range on the ground is limited only by the curvature of the planet.
