Like a Petty Officer, a Lieutenant Commander is usually a Lieutenant (NSN) who shows promise in command. Lieutenant Commanders will find themselves working with the Officers of the ship, learning the strategic sides of Ship Combat. On the other hand, this rank can also be used for a tactical advisory position. Lieutenant Commanders are usually the most skilled on a bridge crew and have strategic training to back to their words. They can advise other warrant staff on their actions and the courses they take. This is usually the highest rank a person in other black bar corps can make before picking a management position. Lieutenant Commanders make 700 DA a week.
