Aboard NMX ships there is a clear difference between Mishhuvurthyar and non-Mishhuvurthyar. This is best seen where they live. The Nekovalkyrja have their barracks and the Mishhu have their own private quarters.
The doors are typically locked and/or possess a telepathic passcode only the resident Mishhuvurthyar knows (the commanding officer does have a master password, however.) So far as outsiders are concerned, the only thing inside of a Mishhu cabin is a large chest for storage and unidentifiable organic slime on the walls, ceiling, and floor.
