Intended for the humane display of live animals which are native and alien to territories held by the Matriarchy. Animal displays range from the purely entertaining, to educational displays which maintain an entertainment element. Animal exhibits often include some form of food service nearby, with lounge seating available for animal observation.
Interactive animal display exhibits, otherwise known as 'petting zoos', provide visitors the opportunity to closely interact with animals largely considered not excessively dangerous. Interactive exhibits range from merely providing the opportunity to touch an animal on display, to the possibility of riding animals which are properly trained and bred for such activities.
Designed for non-interactive animal displays, the multiple display area of an animal exhibit compartment is designed for humanely presenting animals in a semi-natural or comfortable environment in which an animal can be viewed through a pane of polymer material which effectively produces the appearance of a wall when viewed by the animal within the display, while being entirely transparent to those observing from outside of the display. Displays range from small fishtanks, to large pens where large animals can be permitted to semi-freely roam.
Designed as a centerpiece for larger animal display compartments, or as a primary display for smaller compartments, the single display area is designed to provide a central focus upon a single animal being displayed, or multiple animals which are capable of inhabiting the same space without harming each other. These displays are often placed to allow for optimal viewing space for visitors.
