Designed with privilege and luxury in mind, the Officer's Mess is a mid-sized room, which often only has seating for two dozen at most if the officer staff is hosting guests, but usually is equipped to seat merely six or so individuals. These rooms often have servant access points, and are serviced by small galleys devoted to the preparation of food for the officer's mess. Decoration varies depending on the taste of the commander which operates the installation or ship in which the mess is located.
