Designed by the LSDF to be used for the holding of moderate quantities of cargo on starships and in installations, the medium cargo hold is the cargo hold size of choice on ships which are not intended to include cargo hauling as their primary or secondary function. Medium cargo holds at minimum are ten meters in height, and occupy an average space of a twenty to thirty meter square.
