HTT-5 "Regard" Shotgun

The HTT-5 is a double-barreled, pump-action, magazine-loaded shotgun popular with chelti armies due to its simplicity of use coupled with its variety of available ammunition.

The Regard serves as both weapon, and utility. Its barrel length makes it useful at medium range, while specialty ammunition makes it deadly in close quarters. Its use as a utility also allows it to be used as an emergency access device, impromptu flamethrower, and mini-grenade launcher.

Two cylindrical barrels mounted horizontally onto a fairly terrestrial trigger system but with a slightly enlarged trigger guard for alien fingers. In front of the trigger system sits a two stack magazine with firing chamber above and behind it. Under the two barrels is a pump action slider, often having a vertical foregrip attached. A full length stock makes for comfortable shooting and comes in a variety of materials including stamped metal, wood, pressed metal and cast.

The magazines resemble two conventional double stack box magazines of large size due to shell size with their bottoms attacked to a metal connector plate.
