20x75mm Chelti Shotgun Web

A less-lethal 20x75mm shotgun shell utilizing a high tensile net coated in a sticky layer that forms through friction of air resistance once exiting the barrel. A single shell carries a circular net roughly two feet in diameter depending on manufacturer, enough to hinder or immobilize a limb.

Mutli-barrel shotguns are able to take advantage the sticky layer forming in-flight to fire multiple nets at once, causing them to stick together and form a larger net spread by air resistance to a much greater area. Quad shotguns have been known to completely disable targets of small stature in this manner.

The center of the net includes a natural winch which causes the net to tighten around the target after the net lands, creating a series of harsh clicking sounds for a split second until it reaches max pull. The sticky layer is made from a base protein and will eventually decay naturally over the course of a day on exposure to air, due to its nature it will taste somewhat salty if one were to try chewing their way out of it, and then expect gummy teeth.

As a specialty round it sells for 200ks a box.
