Azorean citystates primarily consist of limestone, titanium alloy, and carbon tubes. They may appear to be rather primative on the outside but are quite efficient. Even though each citystate has its own unique look, all seem to have a resemblance to an ancient temple of sorts with spiraling towers rising from the deep as well as lumpy/blocky structures clumped together closer to the ocean bottom. Some of the required limestone is mined from the bedrock beneath the ocean floor. However, most of that limestone is grown in natural coral habitats just outside of each citystate. There are 19 citystates in all, and they each have unique names and important purposes for Azorean society.
Each citystate has seven districts. These districts include the Administration District, Residential District, Market District, Religion District, Military District, Industrial District, and Disposal District. The exact locations of these districts can be in any formation or order, depending on the needs of the citystate. The districts are connected by a monorail tram system created by raeven_enterprises. A cross-citystate tram system is being planned. There are also elevators and passageways in almost every structure for easy access to different levels of the structure. Both of these features allow citizens to navigate through the citystate with relative ease. Resource collection areas are not considered districts as they are technically outside of the citystate. Such areas are industrial mines, coral farms, kelp farms, etc.
