Ion Cannon

Using nearly the same technology as the Ion Engine, the Ion Cannon enhances the destructive forces of ionized hydrogen atoms by using a specifically designed focusing mechanism. It is the most powerful energy weapon in the Abwehran arsenal with the ability to even penetrate some shield systems and most armors. The intensity of the beam dissipates the farther the target is from the cannon.

• Secondary Purpose: Clearing hazardous obstacles
• Damage: Tier 12, Heavy Anti-Starship (See Damage Rating (Version 3))
• Range: Maximum effective range is 20,000 kilometers
• Rate of Fire: One Stream per 5 minutes
• Payload 100 per Ion Coil
