AAF Grenades

Hand-held demolitions given out to infantry, these models of grenades are meant to be thrown by hand or be launched via a launcher and explode in either air or contact with the ground or object.

All Explosive Grenades are colored black.

• Concussion Grenade - Designated with a Gold Star.
• Fragmentation Grenade - Designated with a Silver Star.
• High-Explosive Grenade - Designated with a Blue Star.
• Incendiary Grenade - Designated with a Red Star.

All Canister Grenades are colored forest green.

• Nerve Toxin Grenade - Designated with a Red Stripe.
• Signal Smoke Grenade - Designated with a star dependent upon the color of smoke which is upon a stripe of white.
• Smoke Grenade - Designated with a Black Stripe.
• Tear Gas Grenade - Designated with a Blue Stripe.

All Specialty Grenades have their own unique colors.

• EMP Grenade - Colored White.
• Flashbang - Colored Blue.

Grenades are stocked and distributed in large protective cases made of Titanium with a heavily padded interior. Each case contains 75 grenades of the same type stacked in three trays of five by five. Each Case has a safety mechanism which releases Liquid Nitrogen into the interior when a possible malfunction has occurred in a grenade. Though this wastes the entire case of grenades over a mere possibility, it is much better than losing an armory. Each crate is colored and labeled the same way the individual grenade is for ease of identification.
