A bandage for minor to serious wounds caused by lacerations, cuts, and other types of damage, Synthetic skin does more for the body than a normal cloth bandage does. Synthetic skin is a dual layer bandage that acts to keep both pathogens and danger particles out of the body and to promote the natural healing properties of skin (even if the dermis is damaged). The bottom layer is the layer that promotes this regenerative process, often filling in for damaged dermis when necessary as it adheres to dead dermis. This causes the cells and blood vessels to grow into the bottom layer taking up the slack. Once done, production of natural skin gradually occurs, fooled into thinking the top layer of Synthetic skin is old, dead skin cells. The top most layer starts flaking off with new skin is complete.
