Standard Airlock

A single, double-hatched room normally placed in between a ships habitable areas and hostile environments, the Airlock allows individuals to move between the two areas without risking the rest of the ship. These vary in size depending upon where they are located and follow the International Starship and Cargo Standards.

The most likely places to find an airlock are:

• Docking Ports of a ship.
• Entryways of Small Transports
• Entryways to Critical Engineering Compartments (Engine Room, Fold Core Room, etc.)
