Generalmajors in the Landwehr are normally given command of an entire Division, though Generalmajors in charge of a Corp's First Division are normally awarded the special title of Generalmajor der Korp. In the Luftwaffen, Generalmajors are responsible for multiple fleets in a specific zone called a Air Zone, which is normally the airspace surrounding a region or province. Generalmajors in the Kriegsflotte act in a similar manner to those in the Luftwaffen only these command zones are known as Sea Zones.
