Due to the underlying threat Piracy has to the safety and security of Imperial Citizens, the Parliament of AF 240 has come to the following conclusions:
Any person actively engaging in Piracy is no longer considered protected by the Imperial Constitution on grounds of threatening the safety of citizens.
Any person found guilty of engaging in Piracy where Imperial Citizens have been found murdered or enslaved will be “expelled into the vast universe from whence he came.”
