Djahet was founded a scant fifty four years after the colonization of the new homeworld of Naqada. It was firmly established as the premier and sole major manufacturer of everything from military craft, arms and vehicles to engines for Confederacy forces as a result. Early on Djahet's purposes were in rebuilding the Sahaad's military forces and military/civilian logistics into a more serviceable form having lost many vessels on their trip through the Rift Frontier and breakaways. Now however centuries later Djahet has also incorporated many smaller firms as subsidiaries which has drastically increased its overall industrial might as well as having branched out into several other areas of research and design.
