S6-ICGR

The Section Six Incapacitating Capacitive Gel Rounds, more commonly referred to as S6-ICGR, Gel Shock Rounds or simply Shock Rounds, is a series of non-lethal ammunition available in different calibers, designed and manufactured by Section 6 beginning in early YE 40 – each bullet is simply a shell filled with a pre-charged micro capacitor suspended in an extremely electro-conductive gel and held in place via a thin membrane.

When fired the force of the primer igniting causes the membrane to rip open as escaping gasses push the gel-suspended capacitor out the end as it naturally tries to form the most aerodynamic shape while soaring through the air – upon contact a small button on the capacitor is depressed, causing 50,000 volts to be passed through the gel for seven(7) seconds in order to incapacitate most targets or at least their suit of armour.
